So far I have production and packaging cost, which would be 1.99 CAD, then Etsy's ad cost (27 cents) so $2.26 would be selling at cost. I'm new to selling anything online and very confused about how to price each of my items. So if I don't want to lose profits then what can I do? If my normal profits are 10% can I just add their cut on and do a 16.5% profit rate instead? Is their 6.5% cut just a loss I have to take? I want to include that when calculating the cost of my product but it's a percentage not a flat number (like 20 cents or whatever) so it's going to change depending on what the price of the item is. I can't figure this out, and searching seems to give no answers.
